UPI's Ethanol Blends are gasolines that contain fuel ethanol (alcohol) that is made in Ontario from corn, which benefits farmers and the local economy.
Ethanol in gasoline helps reduce emissions of carbon monoxide by up to 30%, which makes Ethanol Blends better for the environment than conventional gasolines. The alcohol component also removes moisture which provides the added benefit of acting as a year-round gas line antifreeze.
UPI's Ethanol Blends contain additives for intake valve and injector cleanliness and have been awarded the EcoLogoM environmental product designation by Environment Canada.
